Who is it for?
Non-riders, beginners and horse lovers 

Sometimes you don’t need a saddle to truly connect with a horse.
During “Meet the Herd” you take time to get to know our horses, discover their different personalities and feel the special atmosphere of our farm.

You don’t need any riding experience. The focus is on meeting the horses – calmly, without time pressure and with respect for their natural behavior.

Your Experience

Arrival & Welcome
We welcome you personally on our farm and take time to introduce the place, our philosophy and our horses.
With a small drink you can arrive, settle in and take in your surroundings.

Getting to know the herd
You get to know individual horses and learn more about their characters, their stories and their place within the herd.
Together we observe how the horses communicate with each other and what kind of relationships develop within the group.

Time with one horse
Then you can slowly and calmly approach one horse. While grooming and caring for it, your first direct contact begins.
You learn to read the horse’s body language and better understand its signals.

Walking together
We take the horses out of the herd and go for a short walk in nature together.
It’s not about going far or fast. It’s about being present, noticing what’s around you and feeling the connection between human, horse and environment.

Nature & calm
In between there is time to sit, watch and take a deep breath.
Maybe you’ll only hear the wind, the birds or the horses snorting. These small moments are what make this experience special.

A memory to take home
If you like, we capture a special moment of your visit with a photo for you to take home.

“Meet the Herd” is for people who want to experience horses – whether or not they have ever sat on a horse.

You don’t need any prior knowledge.
You only need:

• comfortable clothing

• sturdy shoes

• a willingness to open up to the experience
